Natural history bloggers united

In an attempt to raise Dodology’s profile I sent a message to the email list of the Natural Science Collections Association (NatSCA), asking if anyone else was blogging. This has turned up no fewer than three blogs linked to the Manchester Museum, one associated with the Horniman Museum, plus the one from Yale that I’ve already linked to in the blogroll. The others will be added in a few clicks, and I look forward to following them and finding others.

Any advice on getting more traffic to the site, not just from those inside the museum world but outside as well, would be most welcome!

  1. Not exclusively natural history but do try Leeds Museums and Galleries’ “Secret Lives of Objects” blog:

Really enjoyed reading about the Swifts by the way – I’m thinking of putting in a ‘Swift brick’ at home…

    • Thanks Clare – I’ll add you to the blogroll! Georgina
